On entend par ce terme \u00ab cette somme de petites d\u00e9cisions, de comportements ou d\u2019appr\u00e9ciations qui, encha\u00een\u00e9es et r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es de fa\u00e7on routini\u00e8res, quasiment invisibles, forment un syst\u00e8me dense d\u2019actes discriminatoires et emp\u00eachent l\u2019acc\u00e8s plein et entier \u00e0 la jouissance des droits d\u2019individus d\u00e9finis par leur appartenance \u00e0 une classe, une \u00ab race \u00bb ou \u00e0 un sexe \u00bb (Patrick Simon, 2004) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>(1)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Les observations des intervenant\u00b7es sociaux \u00e0 ce sujet rejoignent les constats des enqu\u00eates : par exemple, l\u2019enqu\u00eate Trajectoires et Origines r\u00e9v\u00e9lant \u00ab un exc\u00e8s de ch\u00f4mage chez les immigr\u00e9s et fils et filles d\u2019immigr\u00e9s originaires du Maghreb par rapport aux personnes n\u00e9es en France m\u00e9tropolitaine de parents fran\u00e7ais, qui n\u2019est pas expliqu\u00e9 par leur situation socio\u00e9conomique (\u00e2ge, niveau d\u2019instruction, etc.). Le sentiment de discrimination dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019emploi exprim\u00e9 par les enqu\u00eat\u00e9s est coh\u00e9rent avec les donn\u00e9es \u00ab objectives \u00bb : plus la personne au ch\u00f4mage \u00ab devrait \u00bb \u00eatre en emploi au vu de ses caract\u00e9ristiques, plus elle r\u00e9pond positivement aux questions sur les ressentis de discrimination. Ce r\u00e9sultat indique que les enqu\u00eates qualitatives sur les ressentis sont compl\u00e9mentaires des mesures \u00ab objectives \u00bb des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s et apportent une information simple et fiable pour l\u2019\u00e9tude des discriminations dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. \u00bb Et pour les femmes, d\u00e9crire leur situation par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019emploi s\u2019av\u00e8re plus complexe que pour les hommes, \u00ab car aux positions de salariat \u00e0 temps complet, d\u2019\u00e9tudes ou de ch\u00f4mage, il faut ajouter le temps partiel et l\u2019inactivit\u00e9. \u00bb <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>(2)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres types de discriminations (li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge, au handicap, \u00e0 l\u2019orientation sexuelle, aux croyances, au milieu social d\u2019appartenance) peuvent s\u2019articuler avec le sexisme pour d\u00e9savantager encore plus les femmes concern\u00e9es. Ainsi, un rapport du Haut Conseil \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9galit\u00e9 entre les femmes et les hommes d\u00e9montre le renforcement, dans les quartiers fragilis\u00e9s, des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s touchant les femmes, ainsi que le lien \u00e9troit entre fractures territoriales et in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales et sexu\u00e9es.
